Tips & Advice

How to care for your weave

Wrap hair at night with a silk scarf and stocking cap to hold down the scarf.

Use little or no grease on your weave. (grease will make your weave look heavy and cheap).

Try not to pull your weave back in a pony tail too much or too tightly, always be conscious of your front baby hair.

Go through the rows of your weave at least once per week and gently apply moisturising hair cream to your own hair and scalp.

Wash your weave only once every two weeks.( good quality hair like Brazilian Hair, use shampoo and conditioner, cheaper quality like premium now, use conditioner only).

Caring for you hair at home after Hair Extensions

Healthy hair care regime

Comb hair gently and throughly, ensure hair is free from knots before washing.

 • Use a conditioner after shampooing, it'll moisture your hair, give it extra protection and shine, reduce static and make it easier to untangle.

 • Spread conditioner evenly through out your hair, using a wide tooth comb, comb hair from root to ends, cover with a plastic cap and leave on for 20 to 30 minutes before rinsing out. Pure natural oils can be added to conditioner for a more shiny, softer healthier hair.

 • Professional hair treatment is highly advisable before re-installing Hair Weave.
